While reversioned MMPR goes on a break we'll rewind and catch up on some monsters we missed. First is King Sphinx, who first appeared in A Pressing Engagement. Submission will be accepted until March 12, 2010!

We're coming up on our first full month of the MOTW Jam, thanks to konrei-sama and kainsword17 for their submissions so far. I think we've come up with some great work! Our monster this week is the Knasty Knight, who makes his appearance in Happy Birthday Zack. Submissions deadline is 7pm CT on March 5, 2010 (on my Birthday, no less!).

Thanks to kainsword17 and konrei-sama for joining in last week, I think everyone's work turned out great. This weeks monster is Snizard, who made his first appearance in Fowl Play in the Sky. Submissions will be accepted until 7:00pm CT on Friday, February 19, 2010. Have fun!

We ended up with three submissions (two more than I was expecting), so I think we're off to a good start. Many thanks to those who contributed, I think we turned in some great work!
My question for anyone interested is, do you like the idea of going with the reversioned monsters each week? Or would you rather just choose random monsters each week? And if so, any ideas for next week?

Welcome to Monster of the Week, a weekly sketch jam with an evil space alien twist! Here's the lowdown:
Each week the artist (that's you) will create a drawing or photo manip of that weeks monster. The monster will be chosen based on what episode of the reversioned Mighty Morphin Powers has just aired. When you're finished, send the image to monstersketch@gmail.com
